AE Gibson & Sons Pty Ltd acquisition of Int-Elect Systems Pty Ltd
We are pleased to announce that AE Gibson & Sons Pty Ltd (AE Gibson) acquired the business of Int-elect Systems Pty Ltd (Int-elect) effective from 9th May 2022.
Int-elect is an established and successful automation engineering company with products, services and markets that are complementary to AE Gibson. This is a key development and contributes significantly to AE Gibson’s strategic expansion plans through a stronger presence in the Australian marketplace, and a strategy to expand up the value chain by providing smarter, interconnected sensing, robotics and automation solutions.
About Int-elect Systems
Int-elect designs and manufactures industrial automation systems for large and small scale production-critical companies seeking the competitive edge that high-tech automation provides. The business was established in 1992 and has been owned and operated for the past 15 years by Jason Hickson, who is the company’s Engineering Manager, and Managing Director.
Int-elect’s principal place of business is in Coffs Harbour NSW Australia where engineering and manufacturing is undertaken, along with sales and service. Int-elect provides automation solutions and systems to a variety of industries including Timber processing, Food production packaging, Manufacturing, Water and Wastewater and Industrial Automation. Similar to AE Gibson, Int-elect offers a complete service from design, manufacture and project management through to implementation and on-going 24 hour support. Int-elect’s strengths in electrical engineering, programming and controls, complements AE Gibson’s strengths in the same fields, and the AE Gibson extensive mechanical engineering, design, and machinery building expertise.
