Vertical Roll Outfeed
The vertical roll outfeed can play an important function to positively remove 2 and 3 sided cants from a chipping canter and positively feed them for further processing into lumber in a twin or quad single or double circular saw assembly.
Characteristics
- Two steel fabricated and machined carriages mounted on linear bearings which in turn are mounted on chromed slideways.
- Three sets of knurled chromed rolls each mounted on a carriage assembly and driven by a 7.5 hp motor-reducer with pulleys and power belts.
- Steel fabricated and machined base supporting the slideways and roll assemblies.
- Two servo-cylinders with controls to position each roll assembly.
