APPEX is built on a strong foundation laid by 35 years of successful AUSPACK exhibitions and is set to represent the entire processing and packaging industry, uniting all sectors for a comprehensive exploration of innovation and collaboration.
The Gibson team recently visited APPEX at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, to meet with key supply partners and learn more about the latest technologies for automation and robotics in manufacturing. The manufacturing industry has come a long way and this year APPEX Expo had record numbers of registrations with people attending from all over the country.
In the four days of this groundbreaking event showed its focus, intelligence and collaboration giving visitors an unprecedented insight into rapidly developing technologies, and into how an industry, that more than ever is in the national spotlight and positioning itself perfectly to meet the challenges ahead.
There was plenty of new technology on display, demonstrating how packaging and processing industry is working hard, and with urgency, to give the nation what it needs, delivering goods within the expected safety, cost and time parameters, while transitioning to a sustainable future.
The industry showed its willingness to work together, putting aside self interest with exhibitors, and various professionals visiting the expo expressing their openness to one another. A great dynamic and mixture of professions that impressed everyone who attended.
